This is a reading unit in which you will develop familiarity with the Letters and Sounds document.

Everyone involved in delivering and monitoring the programme, regardless of their experience with it, should make frequent reference to the original Letters and Sounds document to support all aspects of the planning, teaching and assessment cycle and your school monitoring and evaluation processes.

The activities are described within a video clip which does not have an audio component. You can pause it at different points in order to complete the activities at your own pace. The pause icon will prompt you to do this (see below).

If you do not have a paper copy of the Letters and Sounds document to hand, you can download it from the Support Materials Page. The PDF also contains a copy of the NC spelling appendix.

Types of cookie
